What "Zero Fee" Payment Processing Actually Means
Step 1 — Apply for your merchant account (10 minutes). Fill out our short application online or call us. We need basic business info, an EIN or SSN, and 3 months of recent processing statements.
Step 2 — We configure your terminals, signage, and receipts. Our team ships you dual-pricing-ready terminals (or updates your existing equipment), prints your window signage, and walks you through card-brand-compliant receipt templates.
Step 3 — You're live, paying zero processing fees. Cardholders see the standard small service fee added at checkout; cash payers see the lower cash price. We monitor your account for the first 30 days to make sure everything runs cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions About Zero Fee Payment Processing
Is zero fee payment processing legal?
Yes. Zero fee payment processing (dual pricing) is legal in all 50 U.S. states when properly disclosed at the point of sale and on the customer's receipt. Card-brand rules apply, and we configure signage and receipts to meet them. Surcharge programs are legal in most states too but banned in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
What's the difference between zero fee processing, cash discount, and surcharge?
Zero fee processing (dual pricing) posts two prices — cash and card — so the cardholder pays the network fee. Cash discount advertises a higher "regular" price and discounts it for cash payers. Surcharge adds a flat percentage to card transactions. All three pass the cost to the cardholder; dual pricing is the simplest and most transparent model.
Do my customers pay more at checkout?
Card-paying customers see a small service fee (typically 3–4%) added to their bill. Cash-paying customers see the lower cash price. Every dollar of that fee goes to the card networks, not to us — you keep 100% of your sale.
What fees do I still pay?
With a true zero fee program you pay $0 in processing fees. Some accounts carry a small monthly software fee for advanced POS features, but basic processing is genuinely fee-free. There are no PCI, statement, batch, or gateway fees.
How long does it take to switch?
Most merchants are live within 5–7 business days of approval. Same-day switch is available for businesses already on supported terminal hardware.
